Left Campbellford for first lock 8:30 AM
Lock 13 is on our Port side
Lock 14 is on our Starboard Side
Lock 15 and on on Port side
After Lock 16 and 17 (252 hours)
The scenery starts looking prettier. Small Cottage, lots of fishermen. Then we hit Rice Lake Wide open. We speed upt to 22 MPH for approx. 30 min.
OTONABEE RIVER around the corner made the next 2hours between 6 to 10 MPH .
Peteborough was a nice sight - stop at 16:30 (8 hrs.)
We met Shawn a Blind man who's passion for boating is very special. He waits around the marina until he can find someone that will go with him in the boat.
Many Loopers have stopped in Peterborough and will go up the locks.
Dockage: $1.25/ft = $52.50 + tax
